Why you can count on LITEWALL® SL for the Proper Plaster Finish.

Today to build means to assume responsibility. In the last analysis, building means planning including for future generations. Building also means the conscious use of products and systems that will meet the requirements for energy savings and environmental compatibility in the future as well. Therefore, the future belongs to thermally efficient, natural mineral-based wall components.

Valuable structural materials must be protected from the weather. Litewall® SL is designed to coordinate with the structural requirements of the wall system.

Litewall® SL is basically designed to be compatible with autoclaved aerated concrete. It matches the properties of aerated concrete in density and strength. It is a natural mineral-based material. This assures good compatibility and long term bonding between the plaster and the wall substrate.

Water damages structures. Litewall® SL provides the highest level of moisture protection for exterior structures.

Litewall® SL is completely hydrophobic and clearly exceeds industry requirements, thereby assuring the maximum protection against weather with optimum long-term durability. At the same time Litewall® SL is highly water vapor permeable and thereby assures rapid structural drying.

Autoclaved aerated concrete produces greater temperature fluctuation and thermal stress in the exterior plaster. For that reason the combination of normally hard exterior plaster with autoclaved aerated concrete causes damage.

The use of Litewall finish, produced with intentionally low compression strength and high malleability, assures the maximum safety factor against crack formation.
